Okahu Estate is situated 3.5kms from Kaitaia on the road to Ahipara, at the southern end of Ninety Mile Beach. Vineyard owner Monty Knight established the first vines in 1984, since then the wines have earned a reputation for consistent quality, winning numerous awards including gold medals for their Chardonnay and Shiraz.

Ake Ake Wine Club
Our wine club meet once a month and we usally taste 4 reds and 4 whites, blind. I choose the wines and fill in the details on the wines. Eg: 4 x Pinot Gris and 4 x Italian Reds.
